Romain Charles Lambert

aka ‘Kawada’

Creative Director

@kawada.lambert

Long story short - Most people know me under the name of Kawada, go check the “About’’ section of the website you will see where it comes from.

But for your best interest, I started my hair journey in France, back in 2003 where I learnt a very strong foundation of our craft with purist hairdressers. I then travelled the world where I met amazing and talented people who opened their skills and passion to me. They inspired me to do the same by sharing this knowledge through my clients’ experiences and with the people I work with.

Not that long of a story, I guess :)

Learn. Create. Educate

Ellie Jang

aka ‘Little one’

Creative Director

@elliejang_hairstylist

Always keen to learn and do her best, Ellie began her love of hair when she kept changing her own hair all the time at school (which she still does now) and decided she needed to do something creative….like hairdressing!

She has always enjoyed being the baby hairdresser everywhere she goes and will be forever, no matter how much older she gets, even with 9 years under her belt in the industry!
Ellie likes to do perms, cuts, balayage and just about anything that makes the client happy.

She is very shy but will warm up to everyone and make you feel welcome.

Ellie has a Korean background and is fluent in Korean and English and is more than happy to speak in either language.

Jessica Vales aka ‘Jess’

Apprentice

From runways to real estate, from flying around the world to creating beauty behind the chair —

My career has been a colourful journey full of learning, growth, and reinvention. When I moved to Australia, I knew it was time for a fresh start. I wanted to do something fun, creative, and meaningful. I’ve always loved trying new things and acquiring new skills, which is what led me to hairdressing.

I chose this path not just because it’s a creative and exciting job, but also because it’s a skill I can take anywhere. More than anything, I love that it helps people feel more confident and beautiful in their own way.

I enjoy creating a relaxed, friendly space. I’m as shy as witty and a little bit quirky.

For me, hairdressing is about more than just great hair — it’s about making people feel seen, comfortable, and confident.
